SUBJECT: Holiday Luncheon and giving support to the Sojourner Center for domestic violence

David Franke of Franke & Co, a private equity investment firm whose corporate office is located in the Biltmore area for almost 10 years. David Franke has been involved with the Sojourner Center since 1952 and has spent most that time as a member of the board. He is a member of the Vanguard, which are community leaders who volunteer their talent, time, and/or treasure to the Sojourner Center. David talked about his involvement with Vanguard and the Sojourner Center and its importance.

E. Beth Rodriguez, Community Partnership Coordinator for the Sojourner Center. This was Beth's 3rd time to the BAP Holiday Luncheon, in which the members of the BAP brought in gifts and monetary donations for the families being housed by the Sojourner Center. They both thanked the Biltmore Area Partnership members for their donations of clothing, toys, personal items, money, and their continuing support.
